Let It Snow!

It smells fresh. I can't explain it other than to say the air smells fresh. It hasn’t started to snow yet but the forecast is calling for my area to get 4-8 inches. For once I am excited to get the snow. (Note-I wrote this at 5 am. It has officially started to snow!) Normally I dread it because it means the school's close. But the snow is not expected to start until late this morning or early afternoon so the kids will be in school; though tomorrow might be another story, since most of the heaviest snow fall is expected this evening and over night.

I'm excited because it'll be the first time my Greyhound will see snow! He came to us from Florida so it's unlikely that he's ever seen the white stuff. And every time we got snow last year I was always sick and unable to enjoy watching my puppies and kids play. I've readied my camera with a fresh battery and empty flashcard now all I have to do is wait.
