It started snowing yesterday around 11 am and ended in my area around 1 or 2 am. We had enough snow 5 to 6 inches to close the schools. It wasn't the snow that closed the schools it was the ice that developed on the roads. In my area over 80% of the school aged kids ride the bus, mine included. So the schools usually close. Better safe than sorry.
So today I will have a full day of picture taking, mopping, writing and of course squeezing in my addiction to e-mail now that I am receiving hundreds from a very active and new writing community.
Mouse Update
The big bad little squeaker is still at large. Actually I haven't seen any signs of it since last Friday. No sign of droppings or a foul smell. What the chances that he made his way out the back door or my garage? I know, but I can wish can't I?
Time for me to clear my flash card and get ready to photograph the untouched snow at sunrise. Happy Snow Day!

ReplyDeleteWe've got a mole in the basement right now. I haven't seen him since the weekend, but Halle keeps sitting in odd places and staring intently, so I'm guessing she's seen the little guy run by. Wish she's catch him...earn her keep a little. LOL
