Books and More Books (11 in 10 weeks!)

I finished Just One Look by Harlan Coben last night and it was an exciting read full of twists and turns right from the beginning all the way until the last page. It’s been a long time since I read a mystery/suspense that held my attention the way this one did. I highly recommend this one especially if you’re looking for a well written quick read.

I planned to read Stardust next but my DD has run off with that one. She’ll probably have it finished this weekend which will still give me plenty of time to read it before the library due date. I need to organize my book shelves. I have piles of books and magazines that are waiting for me to crack them open but since I’m not sure what’s there I figured I’d remedy that today by organizing and getting rid of the dust too. I wish there was a way to keep the dust from getting all over my books, but nothing seems to work not even doors. Dust eventually makes its way in there especially if you open them.

I know I have a couple of titles by Elizabeth Berg that I haven’t read on my shelf and I could choose one of the titles from my list on the left but honestly I’m not sure what I’m in the mood to read. I made a goal of reading a book a week this summer and I have read 11 in 10 weeks and there's still one week left before summer break is over. Hmm...I wonder if I'll be able to make it to 13 books in 11 weeks?

Right now I think I’ll sleep on it and then start dusting and organizing my selves.

Until next time Good Writing and Reading!

  4. I have too much time on my hands. I should be writing more but I seem to write more when I'm working an outside job. Thankfully I go back to work tomorrow and the kids go back to school next Monday. We're all a tad bored.
