NaNo Update

Yikes
it's been a while since I wrote here, but I've been busy with writing, dogs and
family. We had a spell last week where the kids and I came down with a stomach
bug. It didn't last long around 24 hours for each of us. I've also been writing
like a crazy person too. I'm doing NaNo and as of Wednesday I am at just over
21K with 29K to go before November 30th midnight. I'm confident I'll make it,
but I am also working on a second WIP that is more than halfway complete. This
WIP is more important right now so if I don't make the NaNo 50K I'll be happy
with what I do get since I basically did the challenge as a way to get my
Daywalker character out of my head so that I could concentrate on my main writing.
My WIP Beneath the Surface stands at 60K and I estimate I'll need about 20-30K
more to complete the story and I hope to have it finished by my kids Christmas
break.

We've
also added to our canine pack. Last Saturday Peso a two-year-old female
Greyhound has come to stay with us until her forever home is found. You can
follow Peso and my other dogs on my new blog Pawsitively Insane. Time to wake
the kids for school and get ready for my three-hour writing marathon. Good
writing.
