I'm going to introduce Wyatt Earp first; he's my baby that sent me into dog frenzy. I've always loved dogs and I had two dogs prior to Wyatt, though I didn't get them until I was in my twenties. Wyatt started my craziness for learning everything dog. I'd never had a puppy, let alone a 7-week-old puppy and I was petrified of doing something wrong, so I read everything I could get my hands on.
Today Wyatt Earp is almost 14 months old. He's a cross between a Standard Black Poodle and Golden Retriever. His cross is called Goldendoodle. He's goofy, smart and cuddly. He’s the reason I want all the dogs I could possibly have. He's the reason I want to learn all I can about training and behavior. We've had a challenging year, at six months he was attacked by a Rotty and we had to deal with fear of dogs and crowds of people. We still have some work to do but each day he gets better. His favorite thing in the whole world is his red Kong ball. He’ll play fetch all day if you have the arm for it. His second favorite thing is mud. He loves to drop his ball in it and then roll it around with his paws and mouth; I think the picture says it all. You can also check out his photo album to the left.
Next time I'll introduce Josie. Until next time, puppy licks and woof, woof.
