Well, not yet anyway. My kids are paying close attention to the weather. Our area is expecting more snow this evening and into the night. One forecaster says we'll get 3 to six with a mix and another says 4 to six all snow. Either way my kids think they'll be off tomorrow. Me I'm just hoping it's a delay, their winter break starts on the 22nd and they'll be home until January 2. They don't need any extra time off. I told them to wish appropriately or they won't have a spring break. I have a feeling this is going to be an active snow season for our area.
While I was excited about the snow we received earlier this week, I'm no longer excited. I'm not a snow person. I like to look at it every once in a while but that's about it. I admit one of the reason I dislike it is because it usually means my kids schools close and that makes my workday tougher. When I know that we're expecting snow that might close their schools I work to get ahead so I don't have an extreme amount to do if they do get off. The in and out and wet floors also get on my nerves and I always wonder how my mother kept her sanity.
My novel Beneath the Surface is at 75K and my ending doesn't work, so it's back to the notebook to write it until it does. But right now I need to gather a scene for my critique group.
