Blech...A Snow Day

It’s been bitterly cold since last Sunday in my neck of the woods and to top it off today the kids have a snow day. YUCK! The county I live in is mostly rural and subdivisions so that means most of the school-aged children ride the bus and that’s why we get a snow day when there’s only an inch or two of snow on the ground.

While the snow day means I’m off too, I’m not happy about that because I don’t get paid! I dislike smaller paychecks. There I’ve taken care of my whine for the day. The upside is I get extra time to write and read. Already this morning I’ve spent an hour on revisions for BTS and next I will enter those changes into the file and then send off my next chapter for my critique group. This will be the first one submitted on time in weeks. I hope I didn’t jinx myself.

I haven’t forgotten to update the after photo of my office because I haven’t actually finished cleaning my office. The thing is since I bought my Notebook I rarely work in my office anymore except to handle my photography and since I haven’t been shooting much I haven’t had any photos to process. So my office lingers in limbo. Maybe today is the day to finish what I started last month.

Until next time Good Writing!
